Overview:

The Challenge

One corporate website, two markets to convince. Eker manufactures geared and gearless elevator machines and sells through both domestic and export channels, so ekerasansor.com has to carry Turkish and English with equal weight. The product range is deeply technical — buyers narrow a machine down by motor type, load capacity, car speed, and sheave diameter — while news, fair announcements, and corporate pages change continuously. Multilingual sites are also easy to get wrong for search engines: each language version has to stay discoverable and correctly cross-referenced with its counterpart. Eker needed a platform where all of this is data the company can manage, not hard-coded pages.

The Solution

TecnoNest developed the software behind ekerasansor.com: a corporate web platform where pages, products, news, and even interface texts live in a database and are served to each visitor in the right language.

  • Database-driven multilingual infrastructure: Turkish and English are managed as first-class content; interface texts and pages are stored centrally and served through a cached localization service, so revising a translation is a data change, not a code deployment.
  • Language-aware routing: visitors are redirected to the appropriate language automatically, while search-engine bots are recognized and served stable, indexable URLs — every page carrying hreflang annotations that map it to its counterpart in the other language.
  • A catalog that filters like an engineer thinks: the machine range is browsable by motor type (gearless, VVVF, two-speed) and filterable by load capacity, car speed, and sheave diameter — the parameters an elevator professional actually specifies by.
  • Content management across the site: news, corporate pages, milestones, sliders, and product data are maintained through a dedicated management application, so announcements such as fair participations and certificate renewals can be published without developer involvement.
  • Cloud-based media storage: product and content imagery is stored and delivered through cloud object storage, keeping heavy assets off the application server.
  • An authenticated service layer: the web front end and management tooling talk to the platform through a token-secured REST API rather than reaching into the database directly.

The Results

  • One platform serving two markets, with Turkish and English running on the same infrastructure and cross-linked for search engines page by page.
  • A technical catalog buyers can navigate, narrowing the machine range down through the specification parameters the industry actually uses.
  • Content as data, so news, products, and corporate pages are managed through the platform instead of code changes.
  • Search-friendly by construction, with crawler-aware language routing and hreflang mapping built into the platform itself.
  • Room for new languages, since the localization layer is database-driven, additional languages can be added as content rather than as code.

The Eker Elevator project is a concrete example of how an exporting manufacturer's web presence can be run as one managed, multilingual platform — content, catalog, and languages included — rather than a set of static pages.
